CM Punjab Launches Karobar Card: Interest-Free Loans for Entrepreneurs
The Government of Punjab has introduced the Karobar Card scheme, offering interest-free loans to support small and medium-sized businesses in the province. This initiative, led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, aims to promote entrepreneurship, reduce unemployment, and boost economic growth.
Key Features of the Karobar Card Scheme
• Loan Amounts: Interest-free loans ranging from PKR 100,000 to PKR 1,000,000 for small businesses and up to PKR 3,000,000 for medium-sized enterprises.
• Repayment Terms: Loans are repayable in easy installments over five years, with a three-month grace period.
• Eligibility: Residents of Punjab, unemployed youth, and small business owners are eligible to apply.
